There are many that hold for fundamental reasons, some in the red and some in the black.

But yes, there are also some who are scared to sell because they don't want to take a loss or are afraid of missing out. That has been posted previously and gained lots of thumbs despite being the most irrational and dodgy reason for holding. I thought that was concerning at the time but if people are happy with fear-based trading/investing that is their problem, not mine.
