    A trading halt to announce the results of a VTEM survey is hardly necessary.

    How would you know without the results at hand? The purpose of a trading halt is to prevent the potential for insider trading on known news that will take a little while to get into a presentable document. There should really be more trading halts then there are on the ASX.
