Regarding whether or not a video on YouTube is using Linius technology, it is correct to say a video could have been generated using Linius tech then exported as an MPEG-4 and uploaded to YouTube.
But that means it's not using Linius tech for delivery. Given the business model is that Linius gets paid per stream... how would this be good for them in any way?
You might as well say that editing a movie together with iMovie and uploading it to YouTube is somehow helpful to Apple.
Said with all due respect, I just think it's important to be clear about this.
