I think you are not familiar with metallurgical terminology - 92% recovery of lithium means you left 8% of the lithium behind, nothing about the purity of the final product.
It s rare (read commercially not viable), even with valuable minerals like gold and platinum, to achieve 100% recovery - some is always thrown away in the tails as returns diminish with effort. However, this tells us nothing about the purity of the final product.
