Sorry - no straight answer. It depends on a lot of things.
Purity - I know we have had trouble with this term before... but hydrofluoric acid (HF) comes in various concentrations (49%, 55%, 70&, 99%... etc) and the price varies accordingly. I put the cost per tonne ~$1000-1300 (for 49%,55%,70% HF equivalent) and the current market rate is $1221/t. If you want 99% you pay a premium >$1600/t.
Dose - It depends how much is required. LIT havent released any specifics and if the dose is low, then the cost will be a small fraction of the overall production cost.
Alternatives - You can use fluorspar which is the base mineral for HF production (basically react 2.2parts fluorspar with sulfuric acid to produce 1t of HF). Fluorspar is cheaper at $250-350/t (depending on market dynamics) but you need twice as much, some sulfuric acid and a conversion facility. Overall the cost from this method would be ~$900/t of HF.
And lastly whether or not this is LITs secret ingredient.
Hope this helps.
