So if the technology is used in China to manufacture lithium then that lithium is placed into batteries which are exported.
The pertinent question is, where is the traceability and how has the patent been breached in the product that arrives in the country that holds that patent protection?
The patent is for the process not the end product and you cannot patent an element.
