Like many here I haven't seen a long term value available in any other company quite like this. The closest to it would be GMM which has and will go better in the short term based on an agreement that weighed favourably by way of the return on investment.

The agreement between General and Galaxy didn't come from no where. There was a long relationship and there is ongoing trust between the two companies which in my opinion has and will continue to flourish.

The agreement with Mitsubishi has been ongoing also and is nothing new to Galaxy Resources. The agreement between them and the alliance has a great deal of benefit by way of the spot price and not a set price which I am thinking Orecobre may have signed with Toyota some time back and will stifle any decent profit margin. The disappointing thing with Orecobre is they have tarnished the idea of extracting lithium for brine. The only argument anyone holds comparing Rock vs Brine is 'what about Orecobre and it's struggles?'

Once the alliance show that they can create a value add for Mt Cattlin spodumene and Galaxy Resources sets a course with Sal De Vida the good fortunes will continue.

All the alliance need to do now is sell some product. Establish a long term agreement with a processor under a tolling arrangement until they can process themselves and then continue on with James Bay.

Galaxy Resources meanwhile needs to complete the review of the SDV DFS and during that we will find out about their processing method there which hopefully is faster than drying in the sun and more energy efficient than other methods available.

The major difference between this and any other lithium stock on the Australian market is that they will be producing near term and not have a company restricting their ability to make gains based on the ongoing rise in the lithium price.
