I imagine it would not be cheap to prepare and submit a formal complaint to ASIC, one that they would even consider an investigation. Then there'd be ongoing fees etc, with no guarantee of success. I bet the motherfudging insolvency administrators have been paid though, and for what? You're not the only one to lose out man, don't feel bad.
