That the government should even try a move like this shows 1/ they are arrogant
2/ we are far too forgiving of politicians that try this sort of stuff on 3/ they have lost their legitimacy(at least with me,) 4/ they deserve a kicking so severe it will become the stuff of legend, at the earliest opportunity.
