Silicon Oxide-from Sand. Is there plenty of sand?

In your above post you mentioned that  silicon oxide (SO) from sand and there is 'heaps of it (sand) around'

Now who knows if it is  correct, -- heaps of sand- is there a shortage of  the right/wrong sand that's used in production of SO.

I am not in any way an expert on SO nor an expert on sand, however this is the information I referred to in my post regarding your comments  re - 'sand shortage'.

Also one assumes that there is more than enough sand to produce the SO...... the assumption  may not be fully correct!

I believe in WBT and have some of my hard earned in it.

Maybe someone on this thread may have much more knowledge than I. Dont get much info in the jungle.

Just thought I would bring it to attention of all ..... I believe not may, apart from the Construction Industry members would have thought
of a 'possible sand shortage'
