Yes it’s been the trend and goal of numerous battery cell makers to high load the silicon in the negative electrode and very high nickel composition ( 70-80%?) for the positive electrode.
The problem is actually solving the problems that arise from that. And not just solving them but to do it in a consistent upscale ,quick ,cost effective and low environmental footprint way.
Difficult to comment when there’s no real data or research I can find. I can’t see any patents either.
Im sure if Tesla was intrigued in their work there’s something but difficult to know how that’s works gone?
