Nothing wrong with using a xenogeneic nude mouse/rat model to prove proof of concept with properly controlled experiments, assuming of course that the target tumour is human-derived. In addition, I would expect that PYC has used a human breast cancer cell line for their in-vitro studies; again, OK for proof of concept. Nevertheless, I'd like to see some hard data soon.
