So say the cost per ounce is $600 (pretty low estimate)
Assuming average Mt kare gold grade of ~2g/t, the ozAu produced per t is
(2 g/t / 31 g for a troy oz)*100 = 6.45% of an Au oz produced per t of ore
Therefore cost per t = 0.0645 * $600 = $38.70/t
So, $38.70/ $30 troy Ag oz = 1.29 Agoz per t
1.29 Ag oz/t * 31 grams troy oz = 39.9 grams of Silver required to pay for 1 t removal of ore.
