The looming fundamentals for silver remains solid. The panicky written style and incoherent blurb of the thread entitled, ‘News: IVR Selling overwhelms GameStop and other Reddit-favored stocks’, should just be seen as a deliberate attempt to muddy the waters. As most long term shareholders here would agree that the fundamentals of silver have not changed.
However, in my opinion, newly discovered silver deposits and the potential for silver discoveries further strengthens the fundamentals than just holding the physical stuff. The current frenzy of activity for coins and bars is one thing but I like the idea of my silver being in the ground. It’s the ultimate natural vault. Almost impossible to steal without a sovereign change and theres’s little to no risk of that happening to Investigator.
More importantly – institutions and centrals banks need to encourage the new supply of silver (exploration and mining) coming onto the market as a way for them to better control monetary policy and inflation in the medium to long term. Therefore the benefits of potentially adding to the supply chain has a far greater economic value for them as it is one of the few actual mechanisms (gold being the other) at their disposal that can control it. Therefore, it could be argued that that is of far greater shareholder value than just the net physical stuff that is in the ground.
The new-age technology future aims to be a carbonless one. It requires more silver than gold. Investigator is one of the few pure silver plays that is advanced enough to be of real value to the supply chain at the right time.
