Thanks for your help.

I ended up buying 3 x 1kg silver pamp bars from Gold Bullion Australia. Delivery time is 4 weeks.

I had a look at the Perth Mint web site. By the time I take delivery charges into account, it works out nearly the same.

Being a first time owner of silver bars, I am a little paranoid about moisture damage and scratches.

I have a friend who owns a deli and he has a vacuum sealer for his meats.

Would that be a good idea to seal the bars in individually?
