One other thing to note from Nordesmic commentary is the importance of SLR cash accumulation - it means that its ASIC is relatively comprehensive and at A$2000/oz gold, SLR is profitable (but not enough to pay dividends)(my comment), and likely to continue with its cash build which will place it in a good (necessary) position to engage in further M&A. Some companies report production and good AISC but no cash ??
So, I think we can take it as a given, a deal with EGA will be finalised, perhaps with a sweeter thrown in. But as Cool Hand stated in his Denver address, SLR wont be over paying, and whatever M&A occurs, it will have to be a WIN win .... yes, pun intended .... SLR should get perhaps more, after all its the lifesaver, and has other options. Obviously the markets perception of SLR value is very dependent on the POG .... I'm looking to trade out of SLR when the next SP surge occurs. I like Nordesmic approach were he try's to identify oversold in good quality, and then exits on the left hand side of the SP up spike ..... greed and laziness never make money.
