In my opinion - they are speculative. And have all already run . My thoughts .
Unfortunately I bought EPTMAG - exchange traded fund - physical silver units . It’s a longterm position in my SMSF. Bought in late March - in volatile time, so must have been propped up & more expensive . ( demand ?) It still has not surpassed the high brokerage costs I pay to buy in and sell . I think the best silver mine companies are not on the asx . And Mexico ! Peru etc .. I would NOT be going near
So - my exchange traded fund position will have to be my keeper . Alternative ‘money ‘ in my book .
But not really profitable I’m sorry. Longterm I’m sure it will be . But not shooting the lights out as yet A speccie position would have been better .
