Just a quick thumbs up for Voltaire; I value your opinions and realise that no individual can be right all the time. It certainly is a positive that you respond to your critics without losing you cool. Best of luck to you.
My idea on silver is this: A few decades ago I read that historically Gold:Silver was 40:1. The actions of the Hunt brothers then distorted this ratio. I don't think that that ratio has ever been back to those levels since the fallout of the Hunt episode. It is hard to imagine that their actions still had any influence on the price of silver or its relationship to gold more recently but the silver looks like it wants to show that history repeats. Like any other markets I believe that the ratio between the two metals swings like a pendulum and will eventual surpass the 40:1. When it does and gets somewhere near 30:1 I will trade my Silver bar for 3oz of Gold.
