Hmm so are you hypothesising pfuzzy that an offer was made to CBH for their 50% of Mallee Bull in the hope that Peel may take the bait. Buy out their JV partner thereby making an acquisition of Peel a seamless transaction ?

Can one assume then that this refers to the FIRB ? Meaning the third party offer came from an offshore entity ? That would remove Aurelia as being the likely source of the offer.
