A rare occurance has happened locally here in US. The attached message is from one of our fine pawn shops. The last time they paid spot prices was 2011. The call must have been put out by the refineries and the physical inventories must be getting really low. This store was paying 65% of spot to their customers just weeks ago. (Fine fine people).
