No mate, the exercise price is 5 cents and you can exercise them whenever you want. I’m assuming you paid 0.002 for your options and spent a grand which would equal 500000 options correct. To exercise all would cost you 25k. If they we worth 8 cents you make a profit of 0.028 profit on each making 14k and getting your 26k back as well.

If you goal is to keep some you’ll have to work out how many you’ll have to sell to cover the exercise price of those you wish to keep say 100000 would cost you 10k you have to sell 400000 at 0.025 to cover or better yet sell 400000 options at 0.0275 to exercise your 100000 and get your initial 1000 investment back so you’ll free carry.
