Its called thematic investing, agree 100%, I bought silver at the beginning of 2020, both IVR and physical. The gold/silver ratio reached 88 today, clearly this can not continue. Just buy it and go on holiday without a mobile phone. Also went short housing, did not look to be a very good bet up until January this year. In NZ the wheels are falling off and prices falling fast. The massive global debt bubble is imploding and there is no way to stop it.
