i agree chris, there are a plethora of reasons to believe that silver is due to move upward, and not the least the suppkly/demand situation. as far as australian explorers, malachite (MAR) has the most aggressive program to determine the viability of rich old workings and to find new deposits. it is my preferred silver stock as MMN has alot of script out there in comparison, meaning the upside potential is alot less. for others though, the volatility factor makes them uncomfortable. there are a couple US listed silver miners -- PAAS has as a majority shareholder one bill gates for example, but my money is on MAR
