Hi Woddonnee
You've stated:
"If you go to www.macmin.com.au and look at Hartley Poynten analysis they say that a silver price of $aus15 would give earnings per share of 20cents.
My guess this would equate to a price of around $2.40.
cheers."
I think your above statement is false. Here are the exact words from the Hartleys report:
" At US$8.25/oz (A$15/oz) silver, our Macmin valuation increases to 20cps, without any likely future additional future reserve or resource upgrades"
They've quoted a VALUATION of 20cps with silver at US$8.25/oz, and you've interpreted this as EARNINGS of 20cps at the above mentioned silver price.
I don't mean to sound rude, but i thought this issue was worth mentioning... it makes a big difference to your (and others) expectations of future share price performance.
BTW, it is worth noting that HP received in excess of $180,000 to do two placements of MMN shares (no doubt with hopes of more placements in future)....ie. they're not entirely independent or unbiased.
... something to keep in mind.
