If that is so get rid of the chip as that is your weakness
I have in my longish lifetime, mixed and worked with rich, poor, top strata people and lower class and although there is usually the difference in education levels, people are people and get them over a beer or on the end of a fishing line they are equally good or bad and the true character usually shows through regardless of position or wealth
