Because there’s 10% short ?
A follow up …. to all of those 10%. Those that have sold you shares to short know you are going to have to buy back.
They mark up on what they sell, KNOWING those that have bought will have to buy back… Guess who will be waiting to buy back your shares.. Ahhh, They win again .
But, at this stage in the cycle, shorts have their belts loosened and the pants is about to drop .
Meanwhile, longs are just sitting back, picking up cheaper shares, thank you very much, knowing the science will win out. In time longs wil be ok. Shorts, completed their transaction would have done as well as those that rode the share to $5 and sold. But those that haven’t …. Hmmm. Going to have to start to bend over …
This is the reason I believe the price is what it is.
Why do you think the price is where it is and why do you care ( unless shorting) ?
