@DocMcstuffins, reducing inflammation at both a local and systemic level will reduce the chances of thrombus formation. These cells need to be activated by inflammation, who knows how many cells end up circulating at a systemic level. There is a reduction in inflammatory mediators which has a direct effect on the coagulation cascade at many different levels. Reducing the progression of heart failure will also have a significant reduction in the likelihood of clot formation
