That trial came unstuck by an unseen problem …..the MSC cells stuck to the plastic of the LVAD device (specifically a medical grade hard plastic) Unseen in the sense that in the plastic IV bag or pouch containing the cells they do not stick so it was never contemplated that they stick to plastic
The cells then gummed up the device and the trial came to an early end
That trial came unstuck by an unseen problem …..the MSC cells...
