Doctors can post on forums too. This weird obsession with us being some sort of special human that is devoid of normal behaviours is bizarre, and really speaks to how detached most people here are from this field.

Even though I'm pulling 110 hour fortnight's (which to be fair is much fewer hours than other specialities) I've got downtime on my days off, so I peruse these forums. Not rocket science.

And I end up posting SO much here because I end up having to try and answer a million people, some of whom have awesome points and have done their research. But for every one poster like that, there's a bunch that are hyper focussed on who I am (like it matters at all), what I do with my life, etc.

It's hilarious. If you don't have an understanding of your investment or are very insecure about it, I get it.
