6 months ago, before I'd even heard of SIS, I was talking to a meter reader. They are to become extinct, with smart meters to be rolled out Australia wide.....in its simplest application, a tenant moves into a rental home but doesn't need to contact the electricity provider....they simply use their smartphone and the meters' Wi-Fi to set the account up and get the power connected....also this will evolve to a pay as you go system .
It's not the main game for SIS at the moment and I confess to being a bit of a long in regards to the tech here....but....is this where the growth is going to be??
It was when SIS came to my attention that I wish I had listened more closely to that meter reader
