I found this whilst trying to see what cost admixtures such as those from Xypex might add to a pour.
The concreters (Nucon) actually add $110 per cubic meter of concrete to put Xypex admixture in not just the cost of the admixture but the labor.

This has me thinking that if concrete requires several different admixtures then the cost can increase quite quickly.  It makes sense then if one admixture can cover a lot of improvements to the properties of concrete then there are some savings to be made.

Just an opinion not facts.
