So if that is the case, why Rolex is very nervous about the public knowing anything about the cost of advertising, to the point they ban the reporter who dared to ask the questions.

The fear is that this few millions that got raised by Zip can go away very quickly at the hands of the Russian person backed scheme in the name of advertising.
Calling is "pay per download" doesn't make me feel any better, what we want is not just a downland, but rather a genuine interest to use the app and share it amongst your friends to generate organic growth.
