am i the only one, or is there a distinct similarity between Talisman's acquisition of Rift Oil to NGE's current scenario.
5th May 2009 - Rift oil agrees farm-in with major multi-national oil company. (look up the announcement together with NGE's announcement - exact wordings used)
16 June 2009 - Announcement of acquisition aby Talisman at a 30% premium to market price.
Comments - there is a good chance that Talisman is proposing a takeover of NGE......perhaps a farm-in and then subsequent takeover. They have a significant amount of capital budgeted for this year even after all current acquisitions.
