Shame really 'cos the country really does need two sompetitive main parties but Simon Crean really has buried federal labor (hate that spelling) and it will take another two elections for it to recover even if he goes in the next couple of months. Voters do not take to a slow witted drone who can articulate leadership let alone do it.
Opposing the government on Iraq effectively deals him out of politics in the medium term and is a major political blunder which will haunt Crean and the Labor Party. The end of Crean is is nigh.
