There are not 5000 publicly listed companies in this country....
Furthermore, if you have a proper look at other Telco's annual reports you would see:
1) iiNet's revenue only grew because it purchased Westnet
2) Peopletelecom had a fall in revenue
I also fail to see what the "WA" inflation rate and growth in the company has to do with each other. Most of the company’s customers are located in the eastern states, and EFTel is a national carrier.
A better figure to highlight is that WA's inflation rate is high(therefore increasing costs as it is the location of their head office), and EFTel still managed to improve EBITDA by 65% and their Net Profit by $1 million.
Also James, the price increases were for aaNet, a smaller part of EFTel, and, looking at whirlpool, they were only put in place in the last few months of the financial year - not really going to make a huge effect on the years finances, are they!
