I am not sure if you are simply being disingenuous, or, if you are really confused. However, you are showing your lack of knowledge relating to financial matters bigger than a small family budget.

Large companies, like those that turn over more than $1,000,000 have to use something called accrual accounting.

Perhaps this lack of understanding comes from inexperience in dealing with companies that turn over more than $1,000,000 - I don't know - but you are making yourself look very silly.
