I agree, and I think this is one of the main reasons why the shareholders see it's time for a change. Example, $30,000 has been "put aside" as a contingent liability on Page 46 of the annual report, I wonder if that includes the legal fees, or, is it the estimated legal fees for the court case?
Do companies have to include any estimated settlement and the estimated court costs in their disclosure to shareholders? In the Boral asbestos case I thought the Board had to disclose what the total estimated costs were to either settle of conclude the action....
Does anyone know?
