The base remuneration is almost the same ( A$625,000 @ FFX vs A$650,000 @ GXY ) .. plus other incentives.

So I think simply that Simon Hay was poached by FFX, simply because SH's role at ORE really sounds like an international sales job ( President of International Business ) instead of an executive / director role ( not a KMP ), and SH is a doer instead of a seller ... plus probably the lack of incentives at ORE ( It is not clear if SH has incentives at his role at ORE ).
