Mr Potter joins Rialto after his successful tenure at Hardman Resources (ASX and AIM listed) where, as Managing Director and CEO, he led the growth of the company as an oil producer in Mauritania and as an explorer with considerable success in the rift valley of Africa, before its acquisition by Tullow Oil for $1.47 billion.
What a crock! When he took over the company from Ted, it was already a billion dollar company. In fact, the market cap went backwards while he was in charge. And he most certainly did not lead Hardman into the rift basin in Lake Albert. He was handed the acreage. What he did lead Hardman into was ... errr... Tanzania and Suriname? Didn't even manage to get Matamata drilled!
Perhaps I should short RIA then??? ;o)
Yes, all holders who converted has done well, but that's because of Heavey and Ghana more than any foresight on Potter's behalf.
