Yes, no product made here, from my view they will never do that like A2M or Bal. This company is controlled by Chinese, acquire factory and sell Chinese made milk products in Australia? That is not the advantage or a good idea, the bosses know this much better than me I think.
However they should have some strategies prepared in mind, if one day they choose to play here. It may not limited to where the herds are, or species of the herd. They may do business like a joint advanture. Also technology is an important factor to consider, it should be more attractive to the Chinese bosses, everyone can see A2 who wins at the creative food technology.
The current things I concerned mostly, Australia not joining the "One belt One road", Chinese PM Li just lobbied here in March, unsuccessful. Beijing only likes to open door to the countries closely partied with, to some extent this would bring some negative influence on CDC, as well other China-related shares not to discuss here. Other factors affecting CDC wrote above.
Just keep an eye see whether they still pay the dividend (paid twice), that is a signal saying they still have the plan, or we will dance with a zombie.
