Software is amortised, so its written down over its expected lifetime, but there are no guarantees it will be useful its whole expected lifetime and its a pretty huge number.
At mid year there was $28.5m software amortised for the half (written down), $122m remaining, so it looks like its written down over a 4 year or less time period.
