I think DJS should sell and lease back the properties. Hand the excess capital to shareholders. Any PE bid will end up doing this in their hands and this is not rocket science. DJS should look moving offshore markets like Asia with middleclass over their liking overseas brands. I would like singapore, hongkong, shanghai and mumbai to start with. DJS do not need to go 100% but 50/50 with some local partner rerisking thier local knowledge.You dont have much choice if Aussie customers dont open thier wollets and competetive with online influence.
