i am looking at investing in GPT but am nervous about their actual worth. They seem to be on a very similar current PE to their position 4-5 years ago, 103 or so (12/09 comsec figures). In Sept 2007 they had about 3.4? Billion shares and an sp of 3.40 ish, so let's give them a general mkt cap of 10 billion. Today they have a mkt cap of 5.4 billion, so we might expect to eventually get back to a steady as she goes price of 90 c to $1.00 with the now 9 billion shares out there. Assuming no consolidation. Is this fair enough? Of course this doesn't consider distributions.
