    * GOLD, gold and more gold. Republic Gold (RAU) has taken a few kicks in the teeth in the past two years, but is raising $4.7million, including a rights issue at 2c a share fully underwritten by Patersons Securities. The money will be used at its Amayapampa gold project in Bolivia and two gold projects in Queensland.
