the joke is simply telling us to wear a mask.

See, if the mosquito was wearing a mask, it would not be able to eat the salt (that it thought was sugar)....

and then it would not have needed to drink the white tequila (that it thought was water)

and in any case, a well fitted mask would have prevented it from drinking anything at all.......

so, it would not get drunk, and hence trip over the stick, hit it's head, and die of Covid19.

So ,that's what the very clever story is telling us.................wear a mask!
