I agree that cash is king at the moment. Someone spoke about borrowing money to buy more shares and a few of us said it wasn't wise to take credit risks at the moment. But everyone has to assess their own risk aversion level.
As for the funding arrangement, it was recently changed from DBZ Mauritius to DBZ (somewhere else). So I guess they wanted to keep it - positive sign? There is a share floor price (around .14), and they could pull out if they wanted. But the share price has dropped below that several times and no mention of dropping it from either party. Why would you if the think the company is on to a good thing.
The farm in arrangements cover some of the costs,the $600,000, and small NT grant as well. I think Monday may tell a big story for both CTP and the bail out.
Just my opinion but I think of any of the speccies these guys don't have as much to worry about. With possibly three "partners" sniffing around. That is a very good sign. All they need is someone with a big pocket and maybe access to an extra rig to get this company from explorer to producer faster.
Remember it is a speccie company. They are wild cat drills, and not every well is guaranteed to produce (but so far 2 are looking positive and we have gas shows at a shallow depth on the third).
