What other answer could they give....its like with the banks there was no confirmation the deal was done - that is their style. the key thing is that there is NO negative news....just that negotiations are continuing...
No news until it is 100% correct is CNP and CER's way - or Rufano's way - he is in the hot seat and from his perspective it is better to be precise - so that when a formal ann comes it will be fact - Dictum es me pactum - my word is my bond - this is the only way a company that has lost credibility can come back from adversity.
