i am wondering whether the last few days of large volume, and price increase, could have something to do with Singapore Petroleum?
The purchases today 2.9m, 3.4m yesterday, and 2.4m day before, seems to be a sustained purchase activity.
    SPC is at 16.7%
So its over the 15% (?) threshold already.
Usually an o/s investor needs to get FIRB approval to go beyond that level - but maybe SGC already has - because I don't think they need to tell us in advance.

The big leaps in potential value accretion in CUE appear to its WA gas prospects.
Perhaps that may be very attractive to SGC?
Singapore has been identified as a bigger importer of LNG in the next decade or so.

I don't think Todd needs to increase its s/h, because it, and the Board, has already got a vice-like grip on control.

    anyway - just a thought.

    cheers
