There is a difference between Sikhs carrying a ceremonial dagger and a Yobbo carrying his greivance against the Sikh.

The Sikhs have been an integral part of the defence of the Queens empire and tha includes Australia. More of them have served and died in the discharge of their duties in war and done so honourably than any non Sikh has. They have through honour earned the right to keep their daggers like the Gurkha has to keep his Kukri. Except the Gurkha has no religious imperative to do so. The constitution does not discriminate.
