same here in Victoria - the one thing that can be said about deregulation of the Dairy industry was that it made a lot of land available to the Managed Investment scheme Forestry Industry.

Those few who got big enough to survive arenow seeing the new face of Dairying in victoria.

Its a $140 million plus corporate dairy business - and there are lots of opportunities for young dairy farmers to!

Driving tractors, herding cows,definity not owning the farm.

Ah well, that's globalisation for you. Can't fight efficiency. They can all join YC when the time comes and race down to the big smoke to get a finance degree and get a real job, LOL!! If they can afford a place at our full fee universities.

Economic rationalism - ya gotta love it. Cause you don't really have a choice till the wheels fall off.
